New Cast of Jersey Boys Announced
Jan 27, 2015
The Olivier Award-Winning Musical will be celebrating its seventh year in March after being seen by 20 million people worldwide since 2008. This is the story of four blue-collared boys from the wrong side of the tracks and how they became one of the biggest American pop bands of the 1960’s. Gary Watson will be joining the cast of Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre from 10 March, playing Nick Massi in the Olivier Award-winning musical. Watson’s theatre credits include Matilda (Cambridge Theatre/RSC) and Les Miserables (Queen’s Theatre). Gary will be starring alongside the Award-Winning Michael Watson as Frankie Valli, Edd Post as Bob Gaudio and Jon Boydon as Tommy DeVito. Sandy Moffat plays the role of Frankie Valli at certain performances. Also joining the cast on 10 March will be Simon Adkins (the original Bob Crewe in London) who started with production back in 2008. Jersey Boys opened in London at the Prince Edward Theatre in 2008 and moved to the Piccadilly Theatre in March 2014. The musical has now been seen by over 20 million people worldwide, and was recently adapted for the big screen by director Clint Eastwood. The show is also currently touring the UK and Ireland.
