CURRENTLY SHOWING: KINKY BOOTS THE MUSICAL

Kinky Boots is shown at The Adelphi Theatre which is adjacent to Charing Cross, currently the fourth theatre to be built on the site. It has a long history, first being opened in 1806 specialising in pantomimes and comedic opera. It was then sold in 1819 and renamed the Adelphi and has been called that since. In its early years it had a reputation of staging melodramas that came to be known as ‘Adelphi Screamers’.

During its long history the Adelphi Theatre has had some very notable productions such as my Fair Lady, The Jungle Book and Chicago. The Adelphi’s size is perfect for putting on large scale musicals and plays. It has had more recent successes such as Derren Brown: Enigma, Two Guvnors and Sweeney Todd. Kinky Boots has been shown at the Adelphi Theatre since August 2015.
